Highworth United Reformed Church

Here for you

Sunday Worship

Easter Worship

We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday and also the 5th Sunday  of the month where applicable at 10.45 a.m.
for worship in the Reformed tradition centred on the Bible as the Word of God

The Church has disabled access and a hearing loop system.  We also have large print hymn books.

Services are led either by our minister, The Revd Robert Jordan or by a visiting minister or lay preacher. Details of services  can be found  here.

We have a rota of preachers, including a number of retired ministers and other trained preachers.
The fourth Sunday each month is normally led by our minister and is a service of Holy Communion.

Our typical service would be best described as traditional Reformed worship. meeting around the Word of God (the Bible) to listen for God and think how this should affect our living for God.
During a service we normally say The Lord's Prayer and often finish with The Grace .

We use the URC hymn book, Rejoice & Sing (1991), as well as occasionally the revised combined edition of Songs of Fellowship (books 1 and 2)(1991, 1998).
