Sunday Mornings
We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 10.45 a.m. Currently the fourth Sunday each month is normally led by our minister and is a service of Holy Communion.
Our typical service would be best described as traditional Reformed worship.
We have a rota of preachers, including a number of retired ministers and other trained preachers.
Occasionally however, the service is rather different. When our Puppet Club and Community Worker share the lead it is far from a traditional service!
Reformed worship would be typified by meeting around the Word of God (the Bible) to listen for God and think how this should affect our living for God. We use the URC hymn book, Rejoice and Sing (1991), as well as occasionally the revised combined edition of Songs of Fellowship (books 1 and 2)(1991, 1998).
During a service we normally say The Lords Prayer and often finish with The Grace .
