‘The Church in Highworth’, also known as the Highworth Inter-Church Council is the ecumenical group of the five Highworth churches and two associate members, founded in February 1974. It has a programme of joint events including joint services, Lent courses, Lent lunches and (since 1984) an annual week-long children’s Holiday Club.
It also publishes an excellent community magazine, Highworth Link, with ten issues a year (there are no August or January editions) covering events across the town and local villages.
The associate members are Gloucester House, a Salvation Army Addictions Rehabilitation Centre and the Lighthouse Book Shop, 40, High Street, Highworth, SN6 7AQ. (Telephone: 01793-763337).

Angels Anglican Church on Sunday afternoon at 12.15 p.m.

With an office (The Bridge) near the town square, the church meets for Sunday worship at 10.15 a.m. (with children’s and youth groups) at The Rec.
